Pressalit is a traditional manufacturing company. For over 70 years, the company has provided the world with high-end toilet seats and bathroom solutions from its headquarters in Ry. As one of the leading producers in the market, the demands from the outside world are high – not only for the product but also for the entire experience around it. With a clear vision to ease the user experience in several stages, Pressalit initiated a collaboration with Novicell in escalating digitization.

From traditional extranet to convenient commerce solution

Imagine an information-heavy extranet where the number of products with price lists and navigation most of all tempt you to place orders… by phone. In the past—just a few years ago—this was how a typical purchasing process unfolded for a Pressalit customer. Today, the new B2B commerce solution is being rolled out, significantly enhancing that experience. Nowadays, placing an order resembles the steps we're familiar with in the B2C world, with prices, shopping carts, and a checkout flow. Additionally, it serves customers by consolidating purchase history for easier reordering. Intuitive, convenient, and simpler.

User-centered approach, easier navigation

The transformation from manual administration via phone and email to a 24/7 accessible self-service solution naturally frees up internal resources, allowing for deeper dedication to product consulting by Pressalit's specialists.

Communication and content that modernizes the brand

With data available, the possibilities for understanding customers—and therefore approaching their needs and challenges—are enhanced. But: having the right digital frameworks and insights is one thing, utilizing them to align with that understanding in targeted communication is another. How do we reach our target audiences, and what impression do we leave them with? These considerations were also on Pressalit's agenda in their journey towards a refreshed brand expression. Together, we fine-tuned the brand voice and developed communication concepts to align more closely with the reality of our target audience. Across landing pages and email flows, the communication strategy is now lighter, less formal, and centers on humor and entertainment—much to the delight of the target audiences, Pressalit, and behavioral data.

Clarity is crucial for strategically and effectively reacting to and using data. Therefore, it was a top priority to integrate the business’s data sources into a setup that makes data both accessible and structured. The customized insights dashboard solution lays the foundation for a unified approach—and thus fosters closer dialogue and leaner management within the organization.
